Supported screens and resolutions for Displai

Confirm your TV, monitor, or projector works with Displai: it needs an HDMI port and a supported 16:9 native resolution.

Reference this article when selecting displays for Displai, troubleshooting display compatibility issues, or verifying that your screen meets system requirements.

Displai works with all 16:9 widescreen displays that have HDMI ports, including:

  • Televisions (TVs)
  • Computer monitors
  • Projectors

Your display must have:

  • An HDMI port
  • Support for at least one of the native resolutions listed below

Displai supports the following 16:9 native resolutions:

  • 1280×720 (720p)
  • 1920×1080 (1080p)
  • 3840×2160 (4K)

1366×768 displays are not supported. Some manufacturers incorrectly label these as “720p,” but they are not true 16:9 displays. These screens will either:

  • Display distorted content, or
  • Fail to display content at all

Before purchasing a display, confirm it has one of the native resolutions listed in the “Supported native resolutions” section above. Check the manufacturer’s specifications sheet or the display’s on-screen menu under “Display” or “Resolution” settings.

If you’ve confirmed your display has a supported native resolution and an HDMI port but content still won’t display correctly:

  1. Verify the screen is set to the correct HDMI input channel
  2. Check that your Displai device is powered on and the HDMI cable is firmly connected at both ends
  3. Try a different HDMI cable to rule out cable failure
  4. Contact support if the issue persists after these steps
