Sightcorp privacy compliance

Understand how Sightcorp audience analytics collects anonymous data without storing images or personally identifiable information.

KB-0076 Last verified

Use this article when customers ask about privacy compliance for Sightcorp-powered audience analytics features in Displai. This explains how Sightcorp’s technology collects anonymous analytics data without storing personally identifiable information.

Sightcorp provides audience analytics capabilities that collect anonymous demographic and engagement data. The technology analyzes camera sensor input in real-time to generate aggregate metrics without recording or storing images.

No image storage. Camera sensors capture frames that undergo immediate algorithmic processing on the edge device. Each image exists only during the brief processing window—typically a few seconds—and is never recorded or stored.

Anonymous data collection. The system extracts only aggregate demographic and attention metrics. No uniquely identifiable data can be derived from the collected information.

Real-time conversion. Images convert to structured data at the point of capture. Once the algorithmic analysis completes, the source image is discarded.

Sightcorp maintains a commitment to compliance with privacy regulations through its design. The anonymous, non-persistent approach ensures that:

  • No personally identifiable information is collected
  • No facial recognition or individual tracking occurs
  • Data remains aggregated and statistical in nature
