Navigate away while uploading media
Keep uploading media while you browse other Dashboard pages, as long as you don't close or refresh the browser tab.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”You need to upload a video or image file to your Displai Dashboard and want to know whether you can navigate to other pages while the upload completes.
- Start uploading your video or image file in the Displai Dashboard.
- Navigate to other pages within the Dashboard while the upload continues in the background.
- Keep your browser tab open until the upload completes.
- Do not close or refresh the browser tab during the upload.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”The upload completes successfully without a red warning icon appearing on your presentation in the library.
If it doesn’t work
Section titled “If it doesn’t work”If you see a red warning icon on a presentation in your library, this indicates a partially uploaded file that will prevent your playlist from being published.
To resolve:
- Delete the broken presentation from your library
- Re-upload the file while keeping the browser tab open
- Wait for the upload to complete before closing the tab
If upload issues persist or you need to publish immediately, escalate to support.
