Display Kegtron on Displai screens

When to use this

Use this guide to display real-time beer tap levels from Kegtron on your Displai screens. Kegtron sensors monitor keg stock and levels, and Displai shows this data through an integrated Taplist front-end. This is for bars and restaurants with active Kegtron accounts who want to show tap status on their digital signage.

Steps

1. Confirm you have Kegtron enabled in your Displai plan. If not, contact your account executive or email sales for pricing.
2. Log in to your Kegtron account and navigate to Account.
3. Click Click to copy to copy your Kegtron API key.
4. Log in to your Displai dashboard and go to the Library page.
5. Click the green Create button to open your app library.
6. Select Kegtron from the app library.
7. Paste your API key into the API KEY field.
8. (Optional) Enter the Site Name if you have multiple Kegtron sites. Leave blank for single-site accounts.
9. (Optional) Specify First Tap Number and Last Tap Number to show a subset of taps. Find tap numbers in your Kegtron account under the target site.
10. Choose a Theme (Dark or Light mode).
11. Set the Duration for how long Kegtron displays in your playlist (default is 60 seconds).
12. Click Save, then Done.
13. Add the Kegtron app to a new or existing playlist.
14. Publish the playlist to your screen.

Verify

Check your Displai screen to confirm Kegtron tap levels appear with the theme and tap range you configured. The display should update in real time as your Kegtron sensors report changes.

If it doesn’t work

• API key error: Verify you copied the full key from your Kegtron account without extra spaces.
• No taps showing: Confirm the site name matches exactly (including capitalization) or leave it blank if you have one site. Check that tap numbers exist in your Kegtron account.
• Data not updating: Contact Kegtron support at info@kegtron.com for sensor or dashboard issues. Displai only controls the display layer, not the Kegtron data feed.
• Kegtron not in your app library: Confirm your plan includes Kegtron; contact your account executive or sales to upgrade.
