Display Instagram on your screens

When to use this

Use this article when you want to show Instagram photos from your business account or from hashtags on your screens. This works for displaying customer photos, highlighting your products, or sharing updates with visitors.

Steps

1. Set up your Instagram business account (if you haven’t already):

   • Convert your Instagram account to a business account by following Instagram’s setup instructions.
   • During setup, connect your business’s Facebook page when prompted—this connection is required.

2. Create a new Instagram presentation

   • From your Library, click the + icon to create a new presentation.
   • Click Add Instagram.

3. Connect your Facebook account

   • Click Log in with Facebook.
   • If you’re already signed into Facebook in your browser, you’ll be asked to authorize the connection.
   • Select the Instagram account you want to use.

4. Configure your presentation settings

   • Name: Set a name for this presentation so you can find it in your library.
   • Source: Choose to display posts from your Instagram account or from specific hashtags.
   • Hashtags: Enter up to 3 hashtags to pull posts from (optional).
   • Shuffle: Enable to randomize the order posts appear.
   • Layout: Choose how many posts to show on screen at once.
   • Zoom: Enable to highlight each post individually before cycling to the next.
   • Profanity filter: Enable to filter profanity from post captions.
   • Headline: Add text like “Follow us @yourbusiness” or “Post with #YourHashTag to appear here”.
   • Theme: Select colors and fonts that match your brand.
   • Presentation Duration: Set how long the Instagram feed displays before switching to the next item.

5. Save and publish

   • Click Save and Done.
   • Add the presentation to your playlist.
   • Assign the playlist to your screens.
   • Click Publish to send it live.

Verify

Your screen should now display Instagram posts according to your configured settings. Posts will cycle through automatically based on your layout and zoom settings.

If it doesn’t work

Instagram account not appearing: Verify that your Instagram account is set to a business account and is connected to a Facebook page. The Facebook page connection is required for the integration to work.

Reels not showing: Instagram Reels are not currently supported. Only standard Instagram photo posts will display.

Authorization issues: If you cannot authorize the Facebook connection, sign out of Facebook in your browser and sign back in before attempting to connect again.
