System requirements for Sightcorp integration

Check the minimum and preferred processor, memory, and storage specs for hardware running the Sightcorp audience analytics integration.

KB-0225 Last verified

Use this article when planning hardware for Displai screens that will run the Sightcorp audience analytics integration. Sightcorp requires specific processor, memory, and storage capabilities to process video frames for audience measurement.

Your hardware must meet these minimums to run Sightcorp:

  • Processor: Intel i5 (2 cores) at 2.3 GHz or higher
  • Generation: Intel NUC 7th or 8th generation
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Storage: 2 GB free space

Minimum specifications support low to medium frame rates.

For optimal performance and high frame rates, use:

  • Processor: Intel i7 (4 cores) at 3.5 GHz or higher
  • Generation: Intel NUC 7th or 8th generation
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Storage: 2 GB free space

After deploying hardware:

  1. Confirm the Sightcorp integration initializes without errors in your Displai dashboard.
  2. Check that audience analytics data appears within 5 minutes of the first detected viewer.
  3. Monitor CPU usage during peak traffic; it should remain below 80% on preferred hardware.

Sightcorp fails to initialize or reports errors:

  • Verify your processor model and generation meet the minimum Intel i5 requirement.
  • Confirm you have at least 2 GB of free storage.
  • Restart the Displai application.

Analytics data is delayed or incomplete:

  • Upgrade to preferred specifications (Intel i7, 4 cores) to increase frame processing throughput.
  • Reduce the number of concurrent video sources on the device.

You are deploying on non-Intel hardware or need more than 10 Sightcorp-enabled screens:
