Display TRAY menus on your screens

When to use this

Use this article when you want to display real-time digital menus from TRAY on your Displai screens. This integration allows you to update product information, pricing, and availability across multiple locations in real-time.

Steps

Get TRAY access

1. Contact TRAY Sales at sales@tray.com with this information:
   • Your full name
   • Your business email address
   • Your business name
   • Your store number (if applicable)
2. Use “Displai Opportunity” as your email subject line.
3. Wait 1–2 business days for TRAY to activate your account in the Displai dashboard.

Connect TRAY to your dashboard

1. Open the Displai dashboard and navigate to your Library.
2. Locate the TRAY app.
3. Click Connect to TRAY.
4. Select your venue from the dropdown list.
5. Select the menu you want to display from the dropdown list.

Customize your menu display

1. Adjust the price format to match your preferred style.
2. Choose your layout, image options, and theme.
3. Set the display duration for each menu item.
4. Configure out-of-stock product visibility.
5. Add a QR code if desired.
6. Add a footnote if needed.
7. Click Save to preserve your changes.
8. Click Done to return to the Library.

Publish to your screens

1. Add the TRAY menu to a playlist.
2. Assign that playlist to your desired screens.
3. Click Publish to send the menu to your screens.

Verify

Your TRAY menu should appear on the assigned screens within a few minutes of publishing. Check that prices, product names, and images match your current TRAY menu configuration.

If it doesn’t work

TRAY app not visible in your Library:
Contact the Displai sales team to enable the TRAY integration for your account.

Account activation delayed beyond 2 business days:
Follow up with TRAY Sales at sales@tray.com or call 844-873-8729.

Menu content issues (missing items, incorrect prices, sync failures):
Contact TRAY support at support@tray.com or call 844-873-8729.

TRAY app issues in the Displai dashboard (connection failures, display errors):
Contact Displai support.
