Display ArtPlayer on your screens

When to use this

Use this guide when you have an ArtPlayer subscription and want to display streaming art content on your screens. ArtPlayer provides classic and contemporary art collections that can be filtered by mood and style, making it ideal for hospitality, healthcare, and public spaces.

Steps

1. Contact your account executive or email sales to add ArtPlayer to your plan if you haven’t already.
2. Navigate to the Library page in your dashboard.
3. Click the green “Create” button to open your app library.
4. Select the ArtPlayer app from the available integrations.
5. Enter your unique ArtPlayer User ID in the User ID field.
6. Enter the email address associated with your ArtPlayer account.
7. Choose a mood filter for the art display (options include All moods, Happy, Sad, Calm, Excite, Wow, Disgust, Angry, or Fear).
8. Select whether to play accompanying music that matches the chosen mood.
9. Choose a view mode to fit your screen orientation:
   • Fit to Screen (auto-detects orientation)
   • Fit to Screen: Portrait
   • Fit to Screen: Landscape
   • Crop (fills screen)
   • Crop: Portrait
   • Crop: Landscape
10. Set the image duration (30 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, or 10 minutes).
11. Save your configuration and add the ArtPlayer app to your playlist or screen schedule.

Verify

The ArtPlayer content should begin displaying on your assigned screens. Each artwork will show a brief overlay in the top-left corner with the artwork title and artist name. Images will rotate according to your configured duration setting.

If it doesn’t work

• Authentication error: Verify your ArtPlayer User ID and email address match your ArtPlayer account credentials exactly.
• Content not displaying: Confirm ArtPlayer is added to an active playlist or screen schedule in your dashboard.
