Playing music videos with XITE
Add the XITE premium app to a playlist on a ScreenRay Standard or Pro and control music video playback with a USB remote.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”Use this guide to set up and control XITE streaming music videos on your ScreenRay-powered screens. This applies if you have a ScreenRay Standard or ScreenRay Pro device and want to display curated music video content.

Verify your hardware requirements Confirm you have a ScreenRay Standard or ScreenRay Pro device.

Connect a USB remote control to your ScreenRay The ScreenRay Pro ships with a compatible USB remote; ScreenRay Standard requires a separate USB remote for controlling XITE.

Ensure XITE premium is added to your subscription Contact your account executive if you need to add XITE to your plan.

Add XITE to a playlist In your Displai dashboard, add the XITE app to a playlist like any other app.

Publish the playlist to your screen(s) Select the screen(s) where you want XITE music videos to play and publish the playlist.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”XITE music videos should begin streaming on your published screen(s). You can control playback using your USB remote with the controls listed below.
If it doesn’t work
Section titled “If it doesn’t work”No video playback: Verify that XITE premium is active on your subscription and that the playlist containing XITE is published to the correct screen(s).
Remote control not responding: Confirm your USB remote is properly connected to the ScreenRay device.
Need to add XITE to your subscription: Contact your account executive or book a demo to add XITE premium to your plan.
Remote control reference
Section titled “Remote control reference”Use these controls to navigate XITE content:
- Up arrow / Up button: Like the current video
- Right arrow / Right button: Skip to the next video
- i key / Info button: Display video information
- Enter key / OK button: Open the discovery menu to choose content
- Backspace key / Back button: Exit the discovery menu
