KB-017911 steps Last verified

Use this guide when you need to organize presentations and playlists in your Displai library by creating folders, moving content between folders, or deleting content you no longer need.

  1. Log into your Displai dashboard and navigate to the Library.
  2. Click the New Folder button.
  3. Name your folder and click Create.
  4. Drag presentations or playlists from the sidebar on the right into folders on the left, or vice versa.
  5. Click a folder to view its contents.
  1. Click the Manage Multiple button in your library.
  2. Selection icons will appear on each presentation and playlist.
  3. Click each item you want to delete.
  4. Click the Delete button that appears.
  5. If Displai notifies you that any selected items are currently in use on screens, remove them from those screens before deleting.
  6. Click Done to return to your normal library view.
  • Your folders appear in the left sidebar with the content you moved into them.
  • Deleted items no longer appear in your library.
  • Content currently playing on screens remains unaffected unless you explicitly removed it.

Drag-and-drop not working on Windows touchscreen laptop:
If you have both a touchscreen and a trackpad, only one input method may work for dragging content. Try using only your trackpad or only the touchscreen consistently. This is a known issue being addressed.

Cannot delete content:
If you receive a notification that content is in use, navigate to the screen(s) displaying that content and remove it from the playlist or presentation schedule before attempting to delete it again.

Content missing or library appears corrupted:
Escalate to support immediately. Do not attempt further changes.
