Display Clover menus on your screens

Show your Clover point-of-sale menus on your screens and keep them in sync, with control over items, prices, themes and out-of-stock display.

KB-011212 steps Last verified

Use this integration when you want to display your Clover point-of-sale menus on your screens dynamically. This integration is free to all users and syncs your menu automatically—build your menu once in Clover, and it updates across all your screens.

  1. In your Library, click +Create and select the Clover icon.

  2. Click Connect to Clover and select your merchant location from the list.

    • If this is your first time connecting, you’ll be redirected to the Clover App Market.
    • Click the Displai app, then Connect, then Accept.
    • You’ll be redirected back to the menu builder.
  3. Give the presentation a unique name so you can find it easily in your Library.

  4. Select which menu items to display:

    • Check the boxes next to categories (appetizers, entrees, desserts) or individual items.
    • Use Label filters to show items by tag, such as “breakfast” or “happy hour”.
    • Click any category or item to configure its name, modifiers, or pricing display.
  5. Set your currency symbol and price format ($1, $1.0, or $1.00).

  6. Upload a menu image and choose whether it displays horizontally (top/bottom) or vertically (left/right), and whether it animates.

  7. Enter a footnote message that will appear at the bottom of your menu.

  8. Choose how out-of-stock items display: remove them, show them with a strikethrough, or leave them unchanged.

  9. Customize your menu font and colors, or select a preset theme.

  10. (Optional) Add a QR code URL or image and set its display size.

  11. Set the duration your menu will display on screen (default is 120 seconds).

  12. Add the Clover presentation to a playlist, assign the playlist to your screens, and click Publish.

  • Check one of your assigned screens; the Clover menu should appear in the published playlist rotation.
  • Make a test edit to a menu item in Clover and confirm the change appears on your screen within the sync interval.
  • Clover app not showing in Library: Verify your account plan includes integrations. Contact support if you need to enable integrations.
  • Cannot see your merchant location: Confirm you have the correct permissions in your Clover account. You must be an administrator or have menu management permissions.
  • Menu items not syncing: Disconnect and reconnect your Clover account from the presentation settings. If the issue persists, verify the items are published in Clover and not hidden.
  • OAuth authorization fails: Clear your browser cookies and try the connection flow again. If it continues to fail, escalate to support.
