Send ScreenRay output to multiple TVs

Show the same Displai content on several TVs, either with one ScreenRay per TV or with an HDMI-to-coax modulator on a cable network.

Use this guide when you want to show Displai content from a single ScreenRay device on multiple TV screens. This is most common when you need identical content across many displays in the same location.

Section titled “Option 1: Use one ScreenRay per TV (recommended)”
  1. Connect one ScreenRay directly to each TV screen you want to control.
  2. Configure each ScreenRay with the same content playlist or schedule in the Displai dashboard.
  3. Verify all screens display the same content.

Option 2: Use an HDMI-to-coax modulator for cable networks

Section titled “Option 2: Use an HDMI-to-coax modulator for cable networks”

Use this option only if you need identical content on many screens already connected via a cable network.

  1. Connect your ScreenRay to an HDMI-to-coax modulator using a standard HDMI cable.
  2. Connect the modulator output to your building’s coax cable network.
  3. Tune each TV to the channel assigned by the modulator.
  4. Verify all connected TVs display the ScreenRay output.
  • All target screens show the same Displai content.
  • Video quality is clear with no flickering, signal dropouts, or quality degradation.

Consumer HDMI splitters: Displai works with standards-compliant HDMI devices, but consumer HDMI splitters vary widely in quality. We do not support or recommend using consumer-grade HDMI splitters.

Hardware compatibility questions: If you have questions about whether a specific piece of hardware will work with your ScreenRay, contact Displai support.

Best practice: If you encounter any issues with splitters or modulators, the most reliable solution is to use one ScreenRay per display.
