Display Ovation on your Displai screens

When to use this

Use this guide to integrate Ovation guest feedback platform with your Displai screens. Ovation allows you to collect actionable customer feedback, address issues in real-time, and drive more 5-star reviews. This integration displays Ovation QR codes and feedback prompts on your in-location signage.

Steps

1. Verify Ovation is enabled on your plan Contact your account manager or email sales if the Ovation app is not available in your Dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Library page in your Displai Dashboard and click the green Create button to open your app list.

3. Log in to your Ovation account at app.ovationup.com/login.

4. Retrieve your integration credentials from Ovation:

   • Navigate to Settings → Company → Locations
   • Select Edit under Integrations
   • Copy the Location ID and Token that appear

5. Return to your Displai Dashboard and paste the Location ID and Token into the corresponding fields in the Ovation app configuration.

6. Save your configuration by clicking Save and then Done.

7. Add Ovation to a playlist

   • Create a new playlist or edit an existing one
   • Add the Ovation app to the playlist

8. Publish the playlist to your screen.

Verify

Your Displai screen should now display the Ovation feedback prompt with QR code. Test by scanning the QR code with your phone to confirm it opens the feedback form correctly.

If it doesn’t work

• Ovation app not appearing in Library: Confirm Ovation is enabled on your plan. Contact your account manager if needed.
• Invalid Location ID or Token error: Return to Ovation Settings → Company → Locations → Integrations and copy the credentials again. Ensure no extra spaces are included when pasting.
• QR code not working or wrong location displayed: Verify you copied the Location ID and Token for the correct location in your Ovation account. For issues with Ovation content or feedback collection, contact Ovation support at hello@ovationup.com.
• Playlist not displaying: Verify the playlist is published to the correct screen and that the screen is online.
