Connect Square POS to Displai

When to use this

Use this guide when you need to connect your Square POS system to Displai to sync your menu catalog and enable order processing. This integration allows Displai to display your Square menu items and process transactions through your Square account.

Steps

1. Log into the Displai dashboard and navigate to Integrations in the main menu.
2. Click Add and enter a name for your integration (for example, your restaurant or brand name).
3. Select Square as your POS provider and click Next.
4. Click the Login with Square button on the integration setup screen.
5. Enter your Square login credentials when prompted.
6. Review the permissions Square requests and approve the connection.
7. Click Save to complete the integration setup.

Verify

After completing setup, you should see a success confirmation screen indicating the connection is active. Your integration will appear in the Integrations list with the name you assigned. Square menu items will begin syncing to Displai automatically.

If it doesn’t work

Common issues:

• Square login fails: Verify your Square credentials are correct and that you have admin access to the Square account. If credentials are correct but login still fails, contact Square support to verify account status.
• Integration does not appear after saving: Refresh your browser and check the Integrations list again. If still missing, retry the setup process from step 1.
• Menu items display in unexpected order: Set up custom sorting attributes in your Square catalog before connecting to Displai for better control over item display order.

To edit your integration: Navigate to the Integrations page, locate your Square integration, and click the edit button to modify the integration name.
