Best resolution for Flyers images
Choose the right image size and orientation for each Flyers layout so your images display without cropping or pixelation.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”Use this guide when creating image-based flyers in the Flyers app to ensure your images display correctly without cropping or pixelation. This applies to any Flyers content where you’re combining images with text overlays.

Choose your layout first Flyers offers three layout options that determine how your image and text appear:
- Hero – Image fills the screen with text overlaid
- Default – Image on the left, text on the right
- Flip – Image on the right, text on the left

Match your image orientation to the layout
- For hero layout: Upload a 1920×1080 landscape image for horizontal screens, or 1080×1920 portrait image for vertical screens
- For default and flip layouts: Use portrait or square images; landscape images will be cropped to show only the center section

Upload high-resolution images While the app will scale up low-resolution images, you may see noticeable pixelation. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and still or animated GIF.

Keep text within limits Flyers allows up to 100 characters for your header and 200 characters for your body text (including spaces) to ensure readability at a distance.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”Preview your flyer in the Flyers app before publishing. Check that:
- Your image fills the intended area without unwanted cropping
- Text is readable against the image background (especially in hero layout)
- No pixelation is visible on the screen resolution you’re targeting
If it doesn’t work
Section titled “If it doesn’t work”Image is cropped unexpectedly – You’ve likely uploaded a landscape image to the default or flip layout. Switch to hero layout or replace the image with a portrait or square version.
Image appears pixelated – Your source image resolution is too low. Re-export the image at a higher resolution or use a different source file.
Text is cut off – You’ve exceeded the 100-character header or 200-character body limit. Edit your text to fit within these constraints.
