Display DCatalog on your Displai screens
Show DCatalog flip-books such as catalogs, magazines and brochures on Surface Go 2 screens by adding your edition's Doc ID to a presentation.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”Use this guide when you want to display digital flip-book content from DCatalog—such as catalogs, magazines, brochures, or training materials—on your Displai screens. DCatalog is a digital publishing platform that creates HTML5 flip-books to increase brand awareness and online sales.
Get your DCatalog Doc ID
Section titled “Get your DCatalog Doc ID”- Log in to your DCatalog dashboard.
- Scroll to the “My Editions” section.
- Click the icon under “Links” for the edition you want to display.
- Find the HTML5 Link in the dialog.
- Copy the alphanumeric code at the end of the URL—this is your Doc ID.
Add DCatalog to your Displai dashboard
Section titled “Add DCatalog to your Displai dashboard”- Open your Displai dashboard and create a new presentation.
- Select the DCatalog app from the available apps.
- Paste your Doc ID from DCatalog into the Doc ID field.
- Set the duration for your DCatalog presentation (default is 30 seconds).
- Click “Save” and then “Done.”
- Create or edit a playlist and add your DCatalog presentation to it.
- Publish the playlist to your screen.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”Your DCatalog content should now display on your screen according to the duration you set. The flip-book will cycle through the playlist rotation you configured.
If it doesn’t work
Section titled “If it doesn’t work”The DCatalog app is not visible in your dashboard:
DCatalog is a premium third-party app only available on Surface Go 2 hardware. If you don’t see the app, contact the Displai sales team to enable it on your account.
Your Doc ID is not working:
Verify you copied the complete alphanumeric code at the end of the HTML5 Link URL from your DCatalog dashboard. The Doc ID is unique to each edition.
