Display Duelbox on your Displai screens

When to use this

Use this article to integrate Duelbox—an interactive digital gaming platform—into your Displai screen presentations. Duelbox enables real-time audience participation in games and activities at in-person or virtual events. This integration is suitable for customers with horizontal screens who want to add interactive content to their playlists.

Steps

1. Obtain your Duelbox show code Log in to your Duelbox account at app.duelbox.com and navigate to your main dashboard to locate your show code.

2. Create a new presentation In your Displai dashboard, create a new presentation and select the Duelbox app.

3. Enter your show code Insert the show code from your Duelbox dashboard into the Duelbox app configuration field.

4. Set presentation duration Choose how long the Duelbox content will display in your playlist. The default duration is 90 seconds.

5. Save your settings Click ‘Save’ and then ‘Done’ to finalize your Duelbox presentation configuration.

6. Add to playlist Create a new playlist or edit an existing one, then add your Duelbox presentation to it.

7. Publish to screens Publish your playlist to your target screens to begin displaying Duelbox content.

Verify

Your Duelbox content should appear in rotation on your screens according to the playlist schedule and duration you configured. Participants can join games in real-time using their smart devices and a web browser.

If it doesn’t work

• Duelbox app not visible in dashboard: Contact your account team to activate the Duelbox app for your account, as it is a premium third-party integration.
• Vertical screen orientation needed: Duelbox currently supports horizontal screens only. Vertical orientation support is planned for the future.
• Duelbox platform issues: For problems with your Duelbox account, show code retrieval, game creation, or player participation, visit the Duelbox help center.
• Presentation not displaying: Verify your playlist is published to the correct screens and that the Duelbox presentation duration allows it to appear in rotation.
