Use this article to add a scrolling RSS feed ticker to your Displai channel. The ticker displays news, alerts, or updates from any valid RSS source and runs continuously alongside your channel content.

  1. Navigate to the channel where you want to add the ticker.
  2. Find and click the Ticker option in your channel settings.
  3. In the ticker interface, drag an RSS step from the Available section to the Selected section.
  4. Enter the RSS feed URL in the provided field.
  5. Change the Title to your preferred feed name (this helps identify multiple feeds).
  6. In the Details section, choose how many stories you want to display per feed.
  7. To add multiple feeds, repeat steps 3–6 for each additional feed.
  8. Click Save.

The ticker will appear in your channel immediately after saving. The feed runs continuously no matter what content is currently showing on the channel.

  • Feed not displaying: Verify the RSS feed URL is valid and publicly accessible. Test the URL in an RSS reader to confirm it returns content.
  • Stories not updating: RSS feeds update at intervals set by the source. Allow up to 15 minutes for new content to appear.
  • Ticker not visible on screen: Check your channel’s display settings and ensure the ticker element is enabled and positioned correctly.

For issues with feed formatting or display problems that persist after verification, escalate to support.
