Display Toast menus on Displai screens

When to use this

Use this integration to sync your Toast point-of-sale menus directly to your Displai screens. Changes made in Toast update automatically on Displai screens. This integration is free to all Displai users with a Toast Partner Connect account.

Steps

Activate the integration

1. Log in to your Toast account.
2. Click Integrations in the left sidebar.
3. Click Add and manage integrations.
4. Select Digital Signage.
5. Click Add Now under Displai.
6. Submit the activation request.

Activation takes up to one business day. You will receive an email confirmation when the integration is ready.

If the email address on your Toast account differs from your Displai account email, contact support@displai.ai after submitting the activation request to manually connect your accounts.

Create a menu presentation

1. In your Displai dashboard, click the Toast menu icon.
2. Select the Toast menu you want to display.
3. Choose which menu groups and items to include.
4. For each group, decide whether to show modifiers (like “add ketchup”) and other details by clicking the group name and toggling the checkboxes.
5. Add or remove individual items by clicking them.
6. Optionally filter items by Toast visibility flag.
7. Add an image or QR code if desired.
8. Choose a display theme or customize fonts and colors.

Images display at the top/bottom for banner-oriented images or left/right for vertical images, depending on resolution.

Publish to your screens

1. Add the Toast menu presentation to a playlist.
2. Assign the playlist to your target screens.
3. Click Publish.

Verify

Your Toast menu appears on the assigned screens. Changes you make in Toast sync automatically to Displai screens.

If it doesn’t work

Activation request submitted but no confirmation after one business day: Wait up to 48 hours. If you still haven’t received confirmation, contact support@displai.ai with your Toast and Displai account emails.

Accounts not connecting automatically: If your Toast and Displai emails differ, email support@displai.ai with both account identifiers to manually link them.

Toast-side issues (menu not syncing, Partner Connect not available): Contact Toast Support at +1 (617) 682-0225 or through the Toast app.
