Display TikTok TV on your screens

When to use this

Use this guide when you want to display curated TikTok video compilations on your screens. TikTok TV shows viral videos organized by popular hashtags that rotate automatically to engage viewers.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Library page in your dashboard.
2. Click the green Create button to open your app list.
3. Select the TikTok TV app from the list.
4. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name to identify this app instance in your library.
5. Use the Mute toggle to enable or disable background music for the videos.
6. In the Theme section, upload a custom background image if you plan to display content in vertical orientation. TikTok videos are 1920×1080 resolution and will show side padding in vertical mode.
7. In the Number of videos to be played field, specify how many TikTok compilations you want to display. Each compilation is approximately 3 minutes long.
8. Click Save or Create to finish configuring the app.
9. Create a new playlist or edit an existing one.
10. Add your newly created TikTok TV app to the playlist.
11. Publish the playlist to your target screen(s).

Verify

• The playlist appears in the Published state on your screen’s playlist schedule.
• TikTok video compilations begin playing on your screen within the expected rotation.
• Background music plays or stays muted according to your configuration.

If it doesn’t work

• TikTok TV app not visible in Library: Confirm your plan includes the TikTok TV app. Contact support if the app should be available but isn’t showing.
• Videos not displaying after publish: Check that the playlist is assigned to the correct screen and that the screen is online. Verify network connectivity on the screen device.
• Vertical orientation shows gaps: This is expected behavior due to the 1920×1080 video resolution. Use the Theme section to set a custom background that fills the padding areas.
