Create a catalog in Displai and sync it with Toast POS
Create a catalog in your Displai dashboard and sync it with Toast POS to pull in your menu items.
When to use this
Section titled “When to use this”Use this article when you need to create a new catalog in Displai and populate it with menu items from your Toast POS system. This allows you to display live menu data from Toast on your Displai screens.

Open the Catalogs section In the left-side menu of your Displai dashboard, select Catalogs.

Add a new catalog Click Add Catalog.

Name your catalog Enter a catalog name (for example, your restaurant or brand name).

Select or add your Toast integration
- If you already have a Toast integration configured, select it from the dropdown.
- If you do not have one set up, click Add an integration and follow the prompts to create one.

Save and sync Click Save. Displai will sync with Toast and pull in your menu items.

View your synced items After the sync completes, you will see the items from Toast displayed in your catalog within the Displai dashboard.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”Your Toast menu items appear in the catalog list in Displai. You can now use this catalog in your menu board or digital signage content.
If it doesn’t work
Section titled “If it doesn’t work”- Sync takes longer than expected: Wait up to 10 minutes for the initial sync. If it does not complete, escalate to support.
- Items do not appear after sync: Verify that your Toast integration is active and that you have menu items configured in Toast. If the issue persists, contact support.
- Cannot save the catalog or see a permissions error: Confirm you have admin access to your Displai account. If the error persists, escalate to support.
