Change your ScreenRay's WiFi connection

When to use this

Use this guide when you need to connect your ScreenRay to a different WiFi network, either because you’re moving the device to a new location or changing your business WiFi network.

Steps

Option 1: Automatic setup mode

1. Turn off your ScreenRay.
2. Disable or move the device away from the current WiFi network.
3. Power on the ScreenRay.
4. Wait for the device to enter setup mode automatically (this happens when no familiar WiFi networks are available).
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your new WiFi network.

Option 2: Request network credential removal

If you need to change networks without disabling your current WiFi:

1. Email support@displai.ai from the email address associated with your Displai account.
2. Include the name of each ScreenRay you want updated.
3. Include the exact name of the WiFi network you want removed.
4. After support removes the old network, follow the on-screen setup instructions to enter your new WiFi credentials on the device. Do not send your WiFi password by email.

Verify

After connecting to the new network, confirm your ScreenRay appears online in your Displai dashboard.

If it doesn’t work

• ScreenRay won’t enter setup mode: Ensure you’ve completely disabled or moved away from all familiar WiFi networks before powering on.
• Multiple ScreenRays need updating: Contact support@displai.ai with a list of all devices and network details to process them in batch.
• Setup mode times out: Power cycle the device and try again.
