ScreenRay Lite lets you test the Displai platform for free using an Amazon Fire TV Stick or a computer running Google Chrome. Use this article to set up your first screen, activate it, and publish basic content. ScreenRay Lite displays one presentation (Flyers, Pictures, or YouTube) at a time and is designed for evaluating the platform before upgrading.

  1. Install the free ScreenRay Lite app on your Amazon Fire TV Stick by searching for “ScreenRay” in the App Store.
    • If Alexa doesn’t recognize “ScreenRay” by voice, type the search term manually.
  2. Launch the ScreenRay Lite app on your Fire TV Stick.
    • Alternative: If you don’t have a Fire TV Stick, connect a Windows or macOS computer to your screen and open https://lite.raydiant.com in Google Chrome.
  3. You will see a prompt to create an account and an activation code displayed on screen.
  1. On a separate device (phone, tablet, or laptop), create a free Displai account if you don’t already have one.
  2. Sign in at https://dash.raydiant.com.
  3. Enter the activation code shown on your Fire TV Stick or Chrome browser window.
  4. Provide a name for your new screen and complete activation.
  1. Create a playlist in the Displai dashboard.
  2. Add one Flyer, Picture, or YouTube Video presentation to your playlist.
  3. Publish the playlist to your ScreenRay Lite screen.

Your ScreenRay Lite screen will display the first Flyer, Picture, or YouTube Video from your published playlist for 10 minutes, followed by a brief Displai video. If your screen shows content, activation was successful.

Activation code not accepted: Ensure you’re entering the code exactly as shown on screen, including any capitalization. The code expires after a period of inactivity; if it doesn’t work, restart the ScreenRay Lite app to generate a new code.

Content not displaying: ScreenRay Lite only displays the first Flyer, Picture, or YouTube Video in a playlist. If you publish a playlist with multiple presentations or other content types, only the first supported presentation will appear. You will see a warning in the dashboard when publishing if your playlist contains content that won’t be displayed.

To display unlimited content and access all presentation types, upgrade to ScreenRay Standard.
