The Huddle messaging center
Huddle is a space where you and your teammates can post important communications, recognize remarkable performances and celebrate your achievements. Messages posted will be sent to your teams and, if you have it set up, your Hoopla channels as well.
Tour the Huddle Tab:
The Huddle tab is divided into three sections: Calendar Events, Newsflashes & Messages.
The Calendar Events section, anchored to the top of the Huddle tab, displays all relevant Calendar Events for the current month (Birthdays, Anniversaries & New Hires). We will display Calendar Event for every employee in your Hoopla org that is celebrating a milestone.
The Newsflash section displays all recently triggered newsflash events for the past 30 days. Newsflashes are bundled into one convenient and easy spot line - click into the Newsflash section to view the details of Newsflash (who triggered the event, what triggered the event and any other relevant details). Currently, your users cannot interact with Newsflashes (such as liking or commenting) but that feature is coming soon, stay tuned!
The Messages section is the main body of your Huddle tab. This is where your teammates can view all messages they have received in the past 30 days. Users can click into each message to view the entire body of message as well any attachments (images, videos or PDF files). Critical or emergency messages are marked with a red “Critical” badge and can also be easily accessed by clicking into the Critical subtab. Users may also delete any read messages by clicking into a messages and then clicking the trash can icon.
Both Messages and Newsflashes are displayed in chronological order. You will see a notification badge on your Huddle tab anytime you have new messages.
