You can now easily turn a channel’s lineup into a Reusable Segment, making it simple to manage and share content across multiple channels.
✅ What is a Reusable Segment?
Reusable Segments allow you to centrally manage content that you want to broadcast in multiple channels. When you copy a channel, all steps and their settings—like transitions, durations, and backgrounds—are copied into a segment that can be reused and customized.
⚠️ Note: Ticker feeds and any existing Reusable or Scheduled Segments in the lineup will not be copied over.
📋 How to Clone a Channel
- Go to Channels & TVs > Channels.
- Click on the channel you want to copy.
- In the upper right-hand corner, click the Clone button.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
🎉 What Happens Next?
- A success banner will appear at the top of your screen with a link to the new Reusable Segment.
- The new channel will appear in the channels list with the same title and (clone) behind it.
- All steps and their configurations (transitions, backgrounds, duration, etc.) will be included.
✏️ How to Clone Your Segment
- Go to the Segments tile.
- Choose the Segment you would like to clone.
- Click into the segment and choose Clone at the top right.
