Configure Metric Step

Setup Number, Progress Bar and Gauge Options

The Metric Step allows you to display metric data in a visually engaging way. With this step type, you can show one large Number, a Progress Bar, or a Gauge on your TV segments and channels. For example, you could display the number of active trial accounts, social following growth compared to last week, or progress toward a company goal. It's an excellent way to keep important KPIs top-of-mind!

To use the Metric Step, simply drag it into your lineup and select a Display Type from the dropdown menu: Number, Progress Bar, or Gauge.

If you select Number:

  1. Give your Step a title.
  1. Select a Metric to display. Check "Include in display" if you want to show the Metric label on your TV.
  1. Select a User, Team or Generic Identifier. Check "Include in display" if you want to show this on your TV. Note that Hoopla will auto-sum the values of the individuals on that Team if there is no Team metric value. Use a Generic Metric to display any non-user related metric.
