Release: Does Not Contain” Operator for Streaming Newsflash Logic
What’s New:
You can now use a “Does Not Contain” operator when building Streaming Newsflashes in Hoopla. This applies to all free-text Salesforce fields - including commonly used fields like Opportunity Name, Account Name, and custom text fields.
Why it matters:
Until now, Newsflash filters only supported Contains, leaving no way to exclude text patterns. This forced teams to create multiple workarounds and duplicate Newsflash configs just to filter out unwanted names or irrelevant events.
Customer Impact:
This update directly fixes several long-standing friction points:
- No way to suppress specific keywords or naming patterns
- Extra overhead configuring multiple similar Newsflashes
- More support tickets from unclear or unexpected filtering behavior
Benefit:
Cleaner filters, fewer steps, and far more control.
Teams can now build precise Streaming Newsflashes without redundant configurations - saving time and reducing noise.

What’s New:
Your team’s Performance Console graph can now be displayed directly on any Hoopla Channel. Month-over-month results appear visually on TV screens - no need to open the main app.
Why it matters:
Performance conversations happen on the floor, not just inside dashboards.
Teams asked for a way to broadcast momentum in real time and keep progress visible for everyone.
Benefit:
Increased transparency. Stronger motivation.
More teams stay aligned on goals because performance is literally up on the wall.

Release: Hoopla - Challenge Toggle (Delta vs Total Scores)
What’s New:
Challenges (Faceoffs, Races, Battles, Tournaments) now support a new scoring toggle:
- Delta (default): shows what participants earned during the challenge
- Total: shows their full leaderboard values at challenge end
Admins can choose the scoring method directly when creating a challenge.
Why it matters:
Teams run challenges differently - some track fresh progress, others want full cumulative performance.
Until now, most challenges defaulted to total values, limiting flexibility.
Benefit:
More control over how competition is displayed.
Challenges now match how real teams track performance.

Release: Hoopla - Live Indicator on Channels Page
What’s New:
Admins can now see which channels are actively live on TV screens - directly from the Hoopla Channels page.
A new “Live” column shows a simple indicator so you instantly know what’s broadcasting.
Why it matters:
Previously, the only live status lived under TV Displays, forcing admins to jump between pages and match channels to layouts manually. This caused friction during cleanup, troubleshooting, and support.
Benefit:
Clear visibility. Faster diagnosis. No more guesswork when managing dozens of channels across locations.

Release: Digital Signage – NPS Score Now Live in the Dashboard
What’s New:
You can now submit Net Promoter Score (NPS) directly inside the dashboard experience - no more waiting for quarterly email surveys.
The NPS score appears inside the dashboard flow as a quick, zero-friction touchpoint for customers.
Why it matters:
Quarterly email surveys have low visibility and engagement.
Placing NPS directly inside the dashboard dramatically increases response rates - customers tap once and we immediately get a pulse on satisfaction.

Release: Hoopla - Weather Channel Step
What’s New:
Bring live, local weather straight into your Hoopla channels.
Admins can now add a “Weather” step that automatically updates by location - no screenshots or manual uploads needed.
Simply select your city, choose Fahrenheit or Celsius, set duration, and you’re done.
Why it matters:
Teams want quick, relevant, and always-fresh content in their Hoopla displays - especially those not using Displai devices.
This new step is giving every team a plug-and-play way to show current conditions and forecasts.
Benefit:
Real-time updates. Zero maintenance. More engaging, informative channels.

Release: CX: SCIM Integration for Enterprise Is Here
What’s New:
Our System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) integration is now live!

Why we built it:
Enterprise teams expect plug-and-play user management - and this update unlocks exactly that. Less admin, fewer errors, more security.

Our Support team is ready to help you get started.

Release: Hoopla: License Visibility Update & Microsoft Token Expiration Fix
What’s New:
Previously, customers could only see how many licenses were left - not the total purchased.
- We now display licenses used out of the total (e.g., “7 of 10 licenses used”).
- This gives admins a clearer picture of license utilization and makes capacity planning easier.
Customers using Excel Online, Microsoft Teams, or Dynamics integrations faced silent disconnections every 90 days due to Microsoft’s security protocol. We’ve applied fixes for Excel and Teams integrations.
- Customers will still need to reauthenticate once, but after that, disconnections should no longer occur.

Release: CX: Playlist & Presentation Builder Enhancements (Enterprise only)
What’s New:
We’ve improved how sharing permissions are respected across playlists and presentations:
- Builders now mirror parent folder sharing rules correctly.
- You can no longer open a presentation from the playlist builder if you don’t have edit rights (no more stuck loading spinners).
- Nested playlists are now protected from accidental deletion if you only have read-only access. To remove them, you must first grant edit access.
