Yes. Every new Displai account comes with a 30-day free trial and full access to the platform. No credit card needed.
2. How much does Displai cost?
Displai costs $20 per device per month, or $15 per device per month when billed annually. You can upgrade at any time during the trial. If no payment is made by the end of the trial, access to the platform will be deactivated.
The Displai Lite plan includes support for up to 3 Amazon Signage devices. If you need more devices or advanced capabilities, you can upgrade to the Displai Pro plan - please contact our sales team for more details.
3. What apps are included

4. What features are not included with Amazon Signage Stick
Some Pro marketplace apps and advanced features are not available. YouTube, web pages, offline caching, analytics, proof of playback, on-brand menu apps, and multi-screen setups are excluded.
5. Amazon Signage Stick. Performance and Capabilities
The Amazon Stick is purpose-built for signage, with unnecessary consumer apps removed to keep your experience streamlined. Powered by a quad-core SoC, it delivers smooth 4K video playback and leverages Wi-Fi 6E for fast, stable streaming. A secure bootloader, data encryption, and regular software updates ensure professional-grade performance, reliability, and security.
That said, there are a few things to know before you get started - it runs Displai in the Silk browser rather than as a native app, which limits automation and device management. Offline playback, certain Pro marketplace apps (including YouTube and custom web pages), and remote control features aren’t available. For heavy 1080p video playlists or image-rich signage, performance may vary.
6. Why don’t my portrait videos display correctly on the Signage Stick?
The Signage Stick currently renders all videos in landscape orientation and does not rotate them automatically. If you want to play portrait videos, you’ll need to rotate the file in a video editor before uploading it. This workaround only applies if your playlist is video-only - mixed playlists (images + videos) will not align properly with rotated files.
How to Set Up Your Amazon Signage Stick with Displai
Follow these steps to get your Amazon Signage Stick connected to Displai and ready to display content.
1. Plug in your Amazon Stick
- Connect the Amazon Stick to your display’s HDMI port.
- Plug the power cable into a wall outlet or USB port on your display.
2. Select your Wi-Fi network
- Turn on your display and Amazon Stick.
- Use the remote to choose your preferred language.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your password.
- Once connected, the device will launch the Amazon Signage Wizard.
3. Note your pairing code
- The screen will show a pairing code (example: fnq9ua).
- You will use this code in the next step to link your device to your Amazon Signage Manager account.
4. Log into Amazon Signage Manager
- On your computer, go to: console.signage.amazon.com.
- Log in with your existing Amazon account or create a new one.
5. Add your device
- In Amazon Signage Manager, click + Add Device.
- Enter the pairing code shown on your screen.
6. Select your Content Management System
- From the CMS dropdown list, select Displai.
- Click Save.
7. Complete Displai onboarding
- The Amazon Stick will now display a QR code and/or activation code for Displai.
- If you already have a Displai account:
- Go to your Displai dashboard → Screens → Add Screen → enter the activation code.
- If you need a Displai account:
- Sign up here:http://signup.displai.ai/amazon
- Follow the prompts to create your account, then add your screen using the activation code or QR code.
8. Complete your setup
Once your Amazon Signage Stick is paired, your screen will show a confirmation message. At this point, you can start exploring the Displai Dashboard.
You have a 30-day free trial to experiment with uploading and scheduling content. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue using the service.
For Amazon Signage, we provide the Displai Lite plan, available in two options:
- Monthly subscription
- Annual subscription (paid upfront)
To subscribe, click the Subscribe button in the Dashboard. This will open the payment flow powered by Stripe, where you can securely enter your credit card details and manage your subscription.
You can also manage your subscription anytime under Account → Payment and Subscription in the Dashboard.
